Responsibilities & Context

Job Context:

We are looking for a qualified ICT Technician / Assistant Technician that will install and maintain computer systems and networks aiming for the highest functionality. A successful ICT Technician must have a thorough knowledge of computer software and hardware and a variety of internet applications, networks and operating systems. The ideal candidate will also have great troubleshooting abilities and attention to detail.

Job Responsibilities:

• Set up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices (routers, printers, etc.)

• Install structured cabling (Cat 5e, CAT6), Fiber, and DIS line, including electrical cable of the network device.

• Wire and install CCTV security cameras, IP cameras, access control, PA systems, and other various security-related systems.

• Install, service, troubleshoot, repair, and perform maintenance on the computer, laptop, UPS, laser printer, POS, and card printer.

• Maintain records/logs of repairs and fixes and maintenance schedule.

• Perform miscellaneous duties as directed by the ICT Manager in support of the performance objectives of the department.

• Other related duties as assigned.
